May need Additional software, hardware or updates. Also please be aware that the Operating System to run this system is: Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7, 32/64 bit.
Will not work with Windows 10.
• The Bookcheck system, which is a sleek, durable standalone book check unit that safely desensitizes and resensitizes 3M™ Tattle-Tape™ security strips on print materials, CDs and DVDs
• Includes a state-of-the-art barcode scanner that communicates with the unit’s software and the integrated library system (ILS) for efficient check-in and checkout of library materials
• Includes RFID capabilities and software to convert library item information from barcodes to RFID tags
Key features include the following:
• Efficient check-in and checkout of materials by library staff
• Selectable processing flow, from right-to-left or left-to-right
• Audible feedback, a “thump” that informs the staff that a check-in or checkout operation is complete
• Security status verification, a light that tells the staff when the unit detects a sensitized strip
• Easy to use indicators and buttons
