Product Description
Item was acquired through an estate sale. The case and camera's outer cloth is in poor condition, however the camera's internal components seem to be in good condition. There is some discrepancy as to whether this is a Conley Long Focus or Conley Model XV as it has a straight rather than diagonal handle, the Conley Safety shutter, only 1 eyelet on bellows, and the rotating back panel. There is also a Wollensak Optical Co. Rochester, NY stamp which refers to the lens but no reference as to year of manufacture other than post 1907 which is the patent date of the front standard locking mechanism, and 1909 when the Conley name was added by Sears Roebuck & Co, then owned by Eastman Kodak, as a "Guarantee of Quality." Three of the 4 film holders pictured seem to be in fair to good condition with 1 being fully intact, 2 having a loose corner, and one holder having come completely apart (see photos). Lot is being sold as novelty prop AS IS, NO RETURNS.
